Enhancing
Strengthen your gear and tools a `+` at a time. It trains at the Enhance panel — the higher the `+`, the more each attempt teaches.
Raise a tool or a piece of gear from +N to +N+1 at the Enhance window, from anywhere -- worn, and worked where it hangs, or from storage. The run goes on beside whatever else you are doing: mine, fight or sleep while the blade climbs. Each attempt takes 2.4s, costs coins and 3 × (N+1) Voidshards from your bag or storage -- or, from +5, one Colossus core in place of the shards -- and lands with a chance of 1 − N × 0.06, never under 20%. Xp is paid win or lose. The coin cost is three numbers you can read off the piece: its tier (bronze to meteoric and the sets past it, one to six: 100 / 300 / 1,000 / 3,000 / 8,000 / 20,000 a step), times its rarity (plain ×1, then ×3, ×8, ×20, ×50), times N+1. A steel blade (tier 3) at +2 is 3,000; the same blade legendary is 150,000. What the piece is made of does not enter into it: gloves and a bow of the same tier cost the same to raise. A failed attempt drops the piece back to +0 -- unless a protection scroll is set: then a miss from +2 or higher costs one + and the scroll instead. "Enhance to +N" climbs again after a miss until it lands or the shards run out, "Enhance once" stops either way. Your Enhancing level lifts every chance by 0.2% of itself for each level past the first: at 99 a 40% try is about 48%. The rune lectern and the mastery lift it the same way, on top.

A table with no header? Some Codex screens are prose in the game and only look tabular when exported. Where the pipeline could not find a header row it leaves the text above as it came, rather than inventing columns.
