Food & items
Cooked food heals when eaten in a fight. Raw fish has to be cooked first; a burnt one is worth nothing but still takes a slot.
Storage holds everything, stackable, in any order you like; the inventory carries up to 28 stacks (more with Deep pockets). Coins are a number in the top bar, not a stack. The food a fight carries is set under Carry: a count, All but 1 so a slot stays free for what the fight drops, or Fill the pack; both follow the pack as it grows.
Values. The number by each item is what the vendor pays for it -- exactly, coin for coin -- and the floor the market will not sell below. The vendor pays the plain item’s price for a rarer or enhanced one too: what rarity and a + are worth is realised on the market, where players pay for them. A made thing -- a bar, a meal, a plate, a bow, a flask -- is worth what went into it plus what the making took: an hour at the bench pays about what an hour at the rock or the shore does at the same level, whether the things go to the vendor or the market.

A table with no header? Some Codex screens are prose in the game and only look tabular when exported. Where the pipeline could not find a header row it leaves the text above as it came, rather than inventing columns.
