Trading with a player
Two players within 20 tiles of a depot can trade directly, coins and goods both ways, with no tax. Tap the other player and choose Trade; they get a yes-or-no, and a yes opens the same table for both of you. Each side puts in coins and up to eight kinds of thing from their storage -- not the bag -- and sees what the other side is offering as it is built. Nothing moves until both have pressed Accept.
Any change takes both accepts back. Add a thing, strike one out, alter a count or the coins, and both sides are unaccepted again and told to look once more, so what you agreed to is always what is on the table when it moves. The swap itself happens in one go: both sides are checked again at the second accept -- the coins are still there, the goods are still in storage, the other side has room to put them in -- and if anything has changed in between, nothing moves and both of you are told what. Walking away from the counter, closing the window or losing the connection calls the trade off, with nothing moved.
Both players need a signed-up account, and the same things that the market will not touch cannot be traded either. An invitation waits a minute for an answer.
A table with no header? Some Codex screens are prose in the game and only look tabular when exported. Where the pipeline could not find a header row it leaves the text above as it came, rather than inventing columns.
